I want to say thank you for releasing some excellent material through the years. I learned a lot from you. Your a legend and definitely one of the best teachers in magic.

I was wondering if your Ambitious Card Omnibus book will ever be re-released? If so, would you know roughly when?

It was fun meeting Bob Girardi, photographer for the book, at MagicLive. What a truly nice guy and his son, Kenny, was equally a gentleman.

If Daryl is hanging out with guys like these, he has to be alright!

What a great book, and one of my first Magic purchases.

Hanging out with Daryl is a blast; the only downside was the pub we were at didn't sell pitchers. I too would be interested in seeing this book re-released.

I do not suspect that I will be re-releasing the Ambitious Card Omnibus, at least not in the near future. I think that videos and DVD’s can teach this material much more clearly. Stephen Minch wrote the book and I think he did an excellent job.
RevJohn, well said! Bob Girardi and Kenny are great guys! I’m happy to say that Bob and I have been friends for more than 20 years and I’ve know Kenny since the day he was born.
I think I’ll save book writing for topics that don’t communicate well on video - theory, creativity, routine construction, etc.

Reviews for "The Training Grounds: The Academies and Schools for Magic Users in Bralohalla"

1. Emily - 2/5 - I was excited to read "Magic users bralohalla" as I love fantasy novels, but I was disappointed with this one. The plot was confusing and hard to follow, with too many characters introduced all at once. I struggled to connect with any of them and found myself losing interest halfway through. The writing style also felt disjointed, with awkward dialogue and inconsistent pacing. Overall, I felt let down by "Magic users bralohalla" and wouldn't recommend it to fellow fantasy lovers.
2. John - 1/5 - "Magic users bralohalla" was a complete letdown for me. The world-building lacked depth, and the magic system was poorly explained. I found it difficult to invest in the story when everything felt so haphazardly thrown together. Additionally, the characters felt one-dimensional and lacked development. I couldn't muster any empathy or interest in their struggles. It's rare for me to give such a low rating, but this book just didn't live up to the hype for me.
3. Sarah - 2/5 - I had high hopes for "Magic users bralohalla," but unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. I found myself struggling to stay engaged, as there was little to no suspense or excitement throughout the book. Overall, I was left feeling unfulfilled after reading "Magic users bralohalla."
